Provider Description
I accept clients from Colorado and New York State. Many clients work with me because of my expertise & 15+ years of experience, or because they prefer working with a therapist who has first-hand knowledge of trans/queer identities. I support/affirm adults & youth as they navigate their unique gender journey. This includes providing support letters when necessary to begin or continue a medical transition. I am especially passionate helping clients navigate life’s most challenging transitions, including loss, grief, divorce, separation, empty nest, and retirement. Grounded in family systems theory, I recognize that our relational patterns often span generations, shaped by meaningful experiences and contexts. From this systemic perspective, I consider your strengths, resources, and relational networks as integral to the healing process. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel affirmed and empowered every step of the way. Parents and youth often come to therapy together. However, you can attend therapy individually, with a partner(s), or family.
