Provider Description
I provide individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy that is strengths-based, non-judgmental, realistic, practical, supportive, balanced. Part of my work involves providing a healing connection -- a safe, therapeutic relationship solidly built on trust, understanding, empathy and respect. I draw from my training and 30 years of experience providing psychodynamic, relational, family systems, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and trauma-informed therapy for individual adults and couples. What distinguishes me from other therapists is having been steeped in the research about what makes people resilient as well as extensive knowledge of and experience providing therapy for people who are on the autism spectrum as well as having served the LGBTQIA+ community since October 1995.
