I specialize in working with folks who carry identity trauma, which includes all who have had an integral part of who they are attacked, either in one big way or every day in a series of smaller harms. This can leave you feeling as though you are not deserving of the things you need, much less those that you want. If this describes you, I'd love to work with you to explore how your past experiences and traumas are keeping you stuck. Then, strengthened by that increased awareness, we begin charting the course of change you’d like to follow. While I work with individuals who are experiencing all sorts of identity trauma, I specialize in working with folks with disabilities, folks exploring new relational or affectional orientations, and/or who are exploring their gender identities. I do include neurodivergent identities within the umbrella of disability, and work with both formally and self diagnosed folks.
