Provider Description
As a queer therapist, I understand, first hand, the importance of finding a therapeutic space where you can explore concepts related to identity, without fear of judgment. My work with the 2SLGBTQI+ community often centres around romantic and familial relationships, as well as the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and understanding of Self. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals, with a focus on attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also integrate elements of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into my practice. I believe that therapy is much more than intellectualizing and problem-solving. It's about building a meaningful relationship that provides a safe space for you to explore and heal. I bring my full humanity to the therapeutic space and I welcome your full self into our sessions.
