Provider Description
I work to provide sensitive, informed, and affirming care to my clients in order to validate, understand, and empathize with their individual experiences, and to help them live a more meaningful, fulfilling life based on their values. My foundational training and therapeutic approach are both based in principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for mood, anxiety, and personality symptoms. I utilize principles from these modalities most frequently in my work. I also provide consultation or workshops for other psychologists and mental health professionals looking to develop an understanding of modifying evidence-based practices in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, my area of specialty.
