I am a medical social worker, specializing in oncology. I have been in oncology since 2017. I want to ensure that LGBTQ+ and other marginalized people feel safe when they are cared for by me and my colleagues in our rural cancer clinics. Outside of my primary job, I operate and co-founded a small LGBTQ+ non-profit called ProudTown with my colleague. Our non-profit is aimed at improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people of rural, central and eastern Kentucky.
