My name is Charlie (she/they). I'm a non-binary femme primary care nurse practitioner and HIV specialist. I came to nursing from a background in community health, providing STI testing at a collectively run community clinic. I also worked as a gynecological teaching associate for many years, training providers in performing patient centered, trauma informed pelvic and chest exams. I'm passionate about HIV care and HIV prevention, sexual health, gender affirming care, reproductive & gynecologic health, abortion access, and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use. I'm excited to collaborate with my patients! You are the expert on your own experience. My role is to share medical information from my training and experience so that you can make informed healthcare decisions, and then to support you when you've decided what options are best for you.
