When we first begin to meet, we will take time getting to know each other. For some, you will have a specific issue you want to focus on from day one, for others it will be more open and take time to find the path. That will take as long as it takes and it will be different for each person, so you can let go of any expectations you might have before we begin. Once we’re both clear about the goal of our work and you’ve had time to tell your story, then you can expect me to start challenging you to take risks. I am a believer in the notion that we are not bound by the beliefs we have about ourselves. In order to change those beliefs, we have to be willing to be curious about ourselves and to take new and different actions. Yes, it can be uncomfortable and yes, it can definitely be scary, but life opens up when we are ready to try it a different way.
