Hi! My name is Grace Bonney (Grace/they). I’m a therapist who specializes in working with queer, trans, neurodivergent and disabled individuals, friends, couples (including polycules), siblings, and families. As a queer and non-binary therapist with an invisible disability (Type 1 Diabetes), I pay particular attention to the impact of stigma and ensure my clients’ identities are not simply accepted — but embraced and celebrated. I believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. I collaborate with clients to move through challenges from a strengths-based perspective. I work with clients to understand the larger cultural systems around all of us and how they impact our relationships and identities. I approach therapy through an anti-oppression, anti-diet, neurodiversity- affirming, fat liberation and disability justice framework.
