Angela is a compassionate and affirming therapist dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in navigating life’s challenges with authenticity and resilience. With an intersectional, sex-positive, and trauma-informed approach, she specializes in working with clients facing depression, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem, and body image concerns. Rooted in holistic healing, Angela integrates mindfulness, yoga, and somatic practices into therapy, helping clients connect with their bodies and emotions in a safe and empowering way. As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with advanced training in trauma-sensitive yoga, restorative yin, and yoga nidra, she blends movement, meditation, and talk therapy to support healing and personal growth. Angela’s work is liberation-focused, strength-based, and deeply person-centered, guiding clients to embrace their authentic selves and build fulfilling lives. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is a certified Ayurvedic Health Educator and a Dancing Mindfulness facilitator, using creative movement and meditation as therapeutic tools. Angela holds a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and offers therapy both in person at our Clintonville location and through telehealth.
