Provider Description
I know how hard it can be when you or your child are experiencing difficulties with emotions and behaviors, especially when it affects relationships with family and peers and the ability to live a happy and fulfilling life. For individual and family therapy, I specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals ages 0-22 with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, intellectual disability, anxiety, and depression. I work with individuals and families to improve behavior, social skills, family relationships, and parenting challenges. During therapy, I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy within a family-systems approach, and I incorporate many elements of mindfulness and meditation into my practice. I currently am only conducting telehealth sessions using the BetterHelp platform, and I serve clients located in the state of Illinois. (My Florida license is pending, stay tuned!)
