In a world that idealizes individualism and "going it alone," I'm here to join with those who are wanting someone to talk to and work though their difficult times and hardships. I'm a LPC-MHSP with eight years of professional work experience. I am currently pursuing to become a certified sex therapist by obtaining a graduate certificate in Sex Therapy and Couples Counseling from the Modern Sex Therapy Institute. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, anger management as well as many other challenges. My view of therapy is informed by the client, who is the real expert on their lives and who know best what they need from a helping professional. I want to help people achieve a higher level of functioning in their lives, to live free from shame and fear, to embrace vulnerability, and to live from a place of courage, authenticity, and happiness. Please reach out to me if you want to work on issues related to sex, sexuality, relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or anything else that you feel is an area of your life that could use a helping professional's insight.
