It greatly impacts a person’s functional status and quality of life, making this work a profound privilege. In her role, Lorin finds joy in finding clear and creative ways to help patients fully understand their unique conditions and the components of their healthcare, such as their medications and impending procedures. Providing this comfort, reassurance, and building trust with patients is her goal in every interaction. Lorin believes that the Pacific Northwest is a perfect place for a foodie to live. She loves trying new (vegetarian) foods and beverages that are local to the region. Outside of work, Lorin enjoys spending time on the water in any fun capacity, reading non-fiction, podcasts, and doing DIY projects.
