Provider Description
Hi, I'm Nick Hamdi (he/they) - I'm a fat-positive, queer, Arab dietitian based in Providence, Rhode Island. I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan to redefine and understand health, connect with their bodies, and find enjoyment and balance in the ways that they eat and live. I use a trauma-informed approach to counseling, and integrate harm reduction principles into my practice. I enjoy working with folks from all backgrounds and walks of life, and especially love working with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC clients. I completed my undergraduate degree in clinical nutrition at the University of California, Davis. I completed my PhD in Nutrition at the University of Rhode Island.
