My name is Samantha and I’m a queer psychotherapist and the owner and founder of NYC Mental Health Counseling PLLC. As cliche as this may sound, I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others and ultimately decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy. My clinical approach is personalized for each client as no two individuals are the same, so I choose from a variety of treatment approaches depending on your specific needs. I will help you develop tools and management skills while working with you to process your thoughts. I want to make sure that I’m understanding your personal challenges both in and out of session, so our work together will involve exploring how your unique identity impacts the way you see and experience the world.
