Franco is a Licensed Associate Counselor striving to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for clients to explore identity, work through difficult life transitions, address relationship concerns, and find meaning. Franco specializes in serving the LGBTQIA+ community and their family members, with a particular interest in helping nonbinary, bi/pansexual, and intersex people who have felt as though they are not fully seen or understood. They work with adolescents and adults (including addressing unique challenges of middle & older adulthood) and have worked extensively with undergrad & graduate students. Franco often works with clients to navigate conflict, identify strengths, reduce anxiety symptoms, find effective ways of communicating, and increase overall life satisfaction. They welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds and work from a framework of feminist/multicultural counseling and liberation psychology, which recognize the ways in which racism, ableism, transphobia and other oppressive forces affect us in our everyday lives. Sliding scale and other financial options available for those who qualify. Horizon BCBS and Princeton University student insurance (Aetna student plan) accepted. Day and evening virtual sessions and (limited) in-person sessions available.
