Rainbow Families is a 40-year old nonprofit organization based in Washington DC. We provide pathways to parenthood education classes, plus support groups for LGBTQ+ parents/prospective parents: Adoption Non-Gestational Parent New Parents Grief & Loss in Family Planning Divorced & Separated Parents Single Parent by Choice, and more. All are held virtually and/or hybrid, therefore available nationwide. The importance of having queer-specific spaces to learn and grow is critical. We provide spaces to share more deeply, ask specific questions and concerns that one might ordinarily not feel as comfortable in a cis- het- setting.
