My practice draws from evidence-based interventions with a heavy focus on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with each client. I believe the connection and trust between the client and counselor to be essential to the healing process. In my office, my goal is for you to always be met with warmth, joy, and acceptance. My therapeutic foundations are rooted in Attachment Based, Emotional Focused, and Strengths-Based modalities. I believe developing a well-rounded and dynamic life is critical to personal fulfillment. That's why - in addition to providing counseling and psychotherapy services - I enjoy dance, music, travel, and fiber arts. I am passionate about animals, and one of my very many pets, Rook, joins me in session daily. He is a 10-year-old, 3-pound, hypoallergenic Yorkie who enjoys eating and sleeping while we talk. My areas of continued education and interest are focused on becoming a Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT and training in Somatic Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis.
