i’m lalo nahui becerra (they/he). i firmly believe in collective liberation rooted in tenderness, interdependence, and remembrance with our ancestors, spirit, and the land that holds us. i’m a queer, trans masculine, nonbinary, polyamorous, disabled, neurodivergent latine therapist and spiritual guide (love my alphabet soup of intersecting identities!). my lived experience and social location are central to my practice. they shape how i listen, attune, and co-create healing spaces alongside those i support. i understand healing as relational, embodied, and shaped by the social and political contexts we navigate. my practice intentionally de-centers the western clinical gaze and its roots in colonialism, control, and pathologization. healing is not linear, purely cognitive, or confined to diagnosis; it is ancestral, somatic, spiritual, and deeply connected to your lived experience. working with me means you can expect radical honesty, tenderness, and care that honors your complexity. i bring humor (because the horrors persist but we must remain silly), warmth, and directness, especially when things feel tender, messy, or stuck. my work is affirming, queer and trans-focused, and inclusive of polyamorous and alternative relationship structures. i specialize in: *unpacking bi/homo/transphobia, internalized anti-blackness, and other biases and stigma *relational repair, accountability, and communication *exploring boundaries, autonomy, and chosen family *neurodivergence, disability, and embodiment *systemic oppression, racial trauma, and intergenerational healing *spirituality, creative expression, and alternative healing practices i center those most impacted by oppressive systems, including bipoc and global majority communities, queer and trans folks, neurodivergent and disabled humans, migrants and children of immigrants, and anyone longing for a space where they are seen rather than assessed. my approach blends somatic and nervous system-informed practices, narrative and creative expression, spiritual guidance (tarot, astrology), and clinical tools like dbt, cbt, motivational interviewing, and humanistic therapy. these tools are always adapted to your needs, because you are the expert of your lived experience. healing with me is about coming home to yourself, reclaiming pleasure, expanding capacity for joy, connection, and rest, and exploring a life that feels more possible, relational, and yours. this is a space to stim freely, question binaries, challenge internalized oppression, and practice being fully yourself. let’s co-create a life rooted in community care, radical rest, and unapologetic becoming.
