Hi, I’m a licensed psychotherapist based in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and the owner of a proudly gay-owned and operated private practice. I work with clients ages 13 and up, offering affirming, inclusive, and identity-centered care in a space that is safe, sacred, and free of judgment or discrimination. Everyone is welcome here—exactly as they are. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I’m deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you’re exploring your identity, dealing with anxiety or depression, facing relationship difficulties, recovering from trauma, or seeking support around gender dysphoria or the coming-out process—I’m here to support you every step of the way. As an out gay therapist, I bring not only professional training but also lived experience to my work. This gives me a unique understanding of the emotional, social, and systemic challenges that LGBTQIA+ individuals often face. I strive to offer a deeply empathetic, culturally competent, and empowering space for healing and growth. In addition to individual therapy, I frequently conduct mental health evaluations and write letters of support for transgender and gender-diverse clients pursuing gender-affirming medical care, including hormone therapy and surgical procedures. I approach this work with respect, collaboration, and a strong commitment to your autonomy and well-being. I complete a minimum of 30 continuing education hours (CEUs) each year focused exclusively on LGBTQ+-specific content. I’ve also volunteered with LGBTQ+ service organizations across Southeast Michigan and have served as a consultant and advisor for nonprofits dedicated to delivering affirmative care to our community. My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.
