Hi, I'm Sarah, an LICSW with 14+ years of experience, two dogs named Ace and Roxy who will absolutely make appearances in our sessions, and a deep commitment to showing up for people who've spent too long feeling like they don't quite fit in traditional therapy spaces. I'm a relationship anarchist, a queer non-binary person, and someone who lives inside many of the same communities I serve. Courageous You was built because queer folks, those practicing non-monogamy, neurodivergent people, and kink/BDSM communities deserve care that doesn't ask them to translate, shrink, or explain themselves before the real work can begin. I specialize in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Somatic EMDR therapy; two of the most powerful approaches available for trauma, depression, and the kind of stuck that talk therapy alone can't always reach. My work is also deeply body-based, drawing from parts work, the Hakomi Method, and somatic approaches that help your nervous system, not just your mind, find its way through. Relationship therapy is available for all configurations including couples, polycules, triads, metamours, co-parents, and anything in between. Everything is via telehealth and I'm licensed in Washington, Idaho, and Florida.
