Provider Description
Hi, I’m Allie (she/her), a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about creating a welcoming, affirming, and judgment-free space for individuals across the gender and identity spectrum. I specialize in working with children (ages 4+), teens, and young adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, autism spectrum traits, and behavioral or learning differences. At Erie Psychiatry, my practice centers around collaboration, transparency, and empowerment. You won’t find hierarchy here—just open dialogue and mutual respect. My goal is to ensure every patient feels heard, understood, and involved in their treatment from the very first visit. Whether we’re doing a diagnostic evaluation or planning long-term care, I’m committed to working with you (and your family, when appropriate) to co-create a care plan that’s as unique as you are. Hi, I’m Allie. I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing affirming, personalized mental health care for children (ages 4+), teens, and young adults—including those in the LGBTQ+ community. My work centers on thoughtful, collaborative medication management—meaning I help assess, prescribe, and monitor psychiatric medications as part of a broader treatment plan. I take time to explain your options, answer questions clearly, and make sure you feel informed and in control of your care. I specialize in ADHD evaluations, especially for individuals exploring a first-time diagnosis, and also treat anxiety, depression, sleep issues, autism, and behavioral or intellectual disorders. I offer diagnostic evaluations, second opinions, and guidance through each step of your mental health journey. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of thrift shopping, a dedicated dog mom to my sheep doodle Morty, and an unapologetic Harry Potter nerd. I’m also a Capricorn, which probably explains my love of structure and planning. My approach is grounded in real conversations, shared decisions, and making mental health care feel approachable.
