Provider Description
I am dually licensed as both a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) and an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC). As an LMFTA, I have received specialized training in working with couples and families, with a focus on understanding relational dynamics and patterns within systems. I have completed an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Externship and additional trainings on attachment-based approaches. These models inform everything I do in session - with couples, families, and individuals. We are inherently relational beings, exploring attachment patterns and the ways connection has shaped you can be an important part of understanding your story and creating meaningful change. At times I like to integrate my training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and draw from modalities like Narrative Therapy and The Gottman Method for additional tools and interventions when it makes sense for you. I integrate these approaches in a flexible, relational way—always guided by what fits you, your relationships, and what you’re moving through. I’ve pursued ongoing training in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, with the goal of being a more informed, affirming, and responsive therapist. In addition, I have completed suicide prevention, crisis, and trauma trainings, which support my ability to respond thoughtfully and responsibly when clients are navigating difficult or overwhelming experiences. I approach this work with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for the ways people adapt and survive. Your patterns make sense in the context of your life. We’ll gently explore the terrain, notice what matters, and create room for growth. Working together may be a good fit if you need help navigating: -Anxiety, stuck thoughts, and overwhelm -Attachment and relational issues -Identity and self-understanding -Challenges as a couple -Religious or spiritual trauma
