When people come together to speak of what is most important to us, something special happens. There is a deepening, a spark of truth, warmth, and connection. In therapy, we have the chance to connect in this way. Together we can find meaning where confusion lives, we can expand into compassion when judgment scorns, slowing into experience despite the rush of life’s demands. From this together place, we can address the wounds life has inflicted: the oppression and trauma, the depression, fear, and anxiety, the isolation and pain. As a former massage therapist, yoga & meditation teacher, I bring over 25 years of skills and experiences to our sessions. We can play with mindfulness techniques, tune into the body’s wisdom, or delve into issues of spirituality, exploring the complexities of the human experience. I am a Level 2 certified EFIT - Emotionally Focused Individual Therapist. I use embodied, relational, attachment-focused therapy, am a Level 2 certified EFIT therapist (emo for mood disorders, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns and trauma. My personal journey includes connecting with my wholeness as a spiritual lesbian who came out in the late 80s. My commitment is to support you as you connect with your authentic wholeness.
