Hi, I'm JP. I'm a gay therapist based in Seattle, WA who specializes in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. My passion for human connection and psychology stems from my own journey of self-discovery and healing as a gay man raised in the heart of the South. Grappling with societal expectations and internalized stigma, I found refuge, relief, and resilience in therapy. I learned to embrace authenticity and vulnerability in a world which discourages such acts of defiance. My therapeutic philosophy is anchored in creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment where people can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of rejection. I aim to empower my clients to embrace their authentic selves and take charge of their mental, emotional, relational, and sexual well-being.
