I have an eclectic, sometimes irreverent approach to therapy while still relying on evidence-based treatments like DBT and CBT, which focus on developing skills and reframing the thoughts that tell you not to be you. With regular practice, these skills can help regulate emotions and cultivate a sense of calm. I possess both personal and professional familiarity with the LGBTQIA+ community; I deeply understand the impact of microaggressions, the challenges associated with living your life, and the stress of preserving the progress made over the years, especially within the current political climate.
