Provider Description
My life experiences and work allow me to connect deeply with clients who struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and difficulty coping with life stressors. I do this by weaving Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and humanistic therapy. However, I firmly believe that the client is the expert in their life and prefers to meet my clients where they are in their healing journey and help them find the path that works best for them. I have worked with a diverse group of clients from a variety of socio-economic, cultural, and racial backgrounds, as well as clients from various sexual orientations and identities. I strive to be LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and continue to learn and grow in order to be a better therapist and human-doing. I provide an empathetic, supportive, and safe space for clients to explore their inner world, while helping them recognize their strengths and develop new coping strategies for the future.
