I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and an advanced practice Registered Nurse licensed in CA, OR, and HI. I work mostly with adults and specialize in LGBTQ+ psychiatric care. My approach is patient-centered and trauma-focused, which can be applied to a wide range of mental health states/conditions. I like to help patients understand how they can be empowered in their own health care and (re)discover agency in their lives. I prefer to engage with clients who are invested in their well-being. Showing up consistently to appointments and being open to exploring behavioral health concerns is important in showing dedication to yourself - this will make the process of medication management and therapy not only easy but also enjoyable and productive for both of us. The path to well-being starts with a patient recognizing their need for care. I am a strong believer that every individual has the agency to show up for themselves and make space in their life for growth. Together, we can create a partnership that makes your psychiatric health a priority through goal-setting and pragmatic communication.
