During these uncertain times, most people are reporting feeling anxious, helpless, and in need of connection. If you are struggling to manage any of these emotions or experiencing recurrent negative thoughts; there is hope. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to be able to express yourself in an authentic and truthful way. I've been providing counseling services for over 15 years in the DC Metro Area. Above all, I value our therapeutic relationship and your culture. I take time and care in getting to know what's important to you. I currently provide Telehealth counseling for the Virginia and Washington D.C. communities. También proveo servicios a la comunidad Hispana como evaluaciones para casos de inmigración. As an LGBTQ+ identified licensed mental health counselor, I specialize in providing helpful and efficient strategies for you to manage anxiety and depression. I'm trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focus Therapy, and Sexual Identity Issues. LGBTQ individuals often go through periods of questioning their sexual identity, which can cause confusion and stress. Additionally, the “coming out” process, and coping with the reactions of friends and family. I'm here to provide the support and counseling to help you through this process.
