Provider Description
I am a Licensed Clinical/Counseling Psychologist providing telehealth therapy to individuals located in NY and NJ. I am an in-network provider for Aetna insurance or can provide receipts for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider for other insurance providers. I value taking a collaborative, humanistic, strengths-based approach while utilizing a range of evidence-based therapies. I am also passionate about providing LGBTQ+ affirmative care and multiculturally competent care. I provide evidence-based therapy for adults and adolescents to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, trauma, stress, adjustment, sleep/insomnia, depression, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, body-focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling), and ADHD/executive functioning challenges. I have extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a cognitive-behavioral therapy that incorporates mindfulness, values, and acceptance, and I incorporate these approaches throughout my work. I also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment (ComB), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills.
