Provider Description
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and I’m passionate about helping LGBTQAI+ and Latiné individuals learn how to integrate their differing cultural, gender, and sexual identities into the version they want to see in everyday lives and overcome the effects of generational, societal, and familial trauma. A large portion of my practice involves working with adult individuals that may be feeling like they are good enough in work/school and navigate societal/cultural barriers of being a queer person of color in today’s world as well as . My approach often utilizes person-centered and trauma informed modalities of ACT, Gestalt, and IPT. If you are looking for work that is diving deeper I love using somatic work of EMDR and IFS (parts work).
