I'm a Board-Certified Resident in Counseling providing mental health counseling to adult individuals and couples+. I offer both in-person and virtual options. Our first session is really about getting on the same page as far as what to expect of each other and beginning to build our relationship (the most important aspect of therapy!). Just like people are unique, treatment is, too. I generally use mindfulness-based approaches and try to balance developing insight with skills. I'm EMDR and Gottman trained, and like to incorporate parts work (IFS) into therapy work. You deserve to feel safe, seen, & understood. I offer a warm, affirming, and culturally-humble space for you to express yourself and explore without judgment. Therapy with me is down-to-earth and relatable; come as you are.
