Provider Description
Finding support can be difficult; difficult to acknowledge and difficult to start the process. Know that you made the brave decision to prioritize yourself. Therapy could be a good option if you find yourself struggling to stay motivated, want to improve your relationships, aim to achieve growth or self-improvement, find yourself second-guessing decisions, have a hard time identifying and/or regulating emotions, or feel like you're living a life on auto-pilot. Through collaboration, curiosity, and comfort, we can identify and challenge limiting messages from the patriarchal, hetero/cis/mono-normative society we live in. I use an integrative, relational, and narrative-based approach, recognizing that there's no one-size-fits-all model and my work integrates all forms of media to ground our sessions. I am inclusive and affirming of all LGBTQ+, ethnic, cultural, sexual, and gender identities and I am sex-positive, body-positive, kink-affirming, and neurodivergent affirming. My training focuses on working with mental health issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community (coming out experiences, internalized shame, complicated/strained familial relationships, self worth/self value), but I am open to working with all individuals and couples/diverse relationships facing stressors and conflicts in life.
