I believe in creating authentic connections with clients and have a passion for working with people who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and/or those who have experienced struggles related to cultural identity, queer identity, life transitions, trauma, multiculturalism, family conflict, interpersonal challenges, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum, micro-aggressions, generational trauma, and grief. I work to decolonize systems of practice and center the client's unique and collective experience. Clients would describe me as authentic, curious, outgoing yet calming, non-judgmental, funny, honest, and respectful of identities and values. I see therapy as a helpful place to vent, focus on your experiences and how they shape you, work through thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you, and make the changes necessary to explore and embrace your authentic self in order to be the person you strive to embody. I utilize IFS, Narrative, CBT, and attachment-based techniques and perspectives. We will collaborate to uncover your strengths and tap into your potential for growth & healing. I have witnessed how life-changing the therapeutic space can be through my own lived experience and seeing the power of connection in my work with clients. Whether you're facing specific struggles or simply seeking personal growth, we can work through it together.
