Provider Description
Welcome! I am currently accepting adult clients for individual therapy via telehealth in FL and Oregon. I find it fulfilling to help people with addiction issues and chronic and/or invisible illnesses as well as people with systemically and/or politically oppressed identities. Often my clients need help navigating a hostile world or coping with an illness that feels out of control, unfair and burdensome. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, kink affirming, and polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous relationship affirming. I also have extensive training and experience working with the transgender and gender diverse community and providing gender affirming care. I have a curiosity to explore your lived experiences and what struggles you feel therapy could help resolve or improve. I believe in utilizing different modalities depending on the issue, but typically pull from ACT, DBT, solution focused and strength-based perspectives. I also always practice from a harm reduction and trauma informed viewpoint. My approach to therapy has been described as empathetic, humorous and direct. I believe you deserve a therapist who will be your ally and cheerleader, and also help you move on from behaviors and situations that are not serving you.
