If you've ever felt as if you had to choose one part of yourself over another in order to be seen, you're not alone. As a queer, first-generation immigrant, I developed a deep understanding of the nuances of intersectional identities, sociocultural values and the self from an early age. I seek to provide a compassionate space to hold all of you in your complexity. Only then can we explore and integrate your emotions and experiences into your own personal healing journey, in whatever shape that takes in the context of your life. My counseling philosophy emphasizes a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship tailored to individual needs. My commitment to identifying, naming and dismantling oppressive structures on an individual level aligns with my advocacy for inclusivity and equity in mental healthcare. Trauma-informed care rewrites the question "what's wrong with you" to "what happened to you?" Whatever happened to bring you to this moment, I'm glad you're here and I'm grateful for the opportunity to get to know you.
