Does therapy feel too formal or rigid for you? Are you looking for a connection with a therapist who feels warm, open and familiar? Hi! My name is Charlotte and I am the practice owner at Positive Space Consulting, a psychotherapist and a registered social worker. Being queer and disabled myself, I know how many of us feel disconnected from our families, coworkers, and communities. I know how exhausting it can be to navigate the medical system, school system and other oppressive systems and sometimes you just need to share space with someone else who gets it! Capitalism, patriarchy and white supremacy are exhausting! Our therapeutic relationship will be built on a solid, positive, trusting relationship that feels empowering, safe and comfortable. One of the most important things we will be doing in session is connecting! When you are in a space where you’re safe to access your authentic thoughts, feelings and experiences- that’s where real change and growth can happen!I integrate many therapeutic modalities and approaches, while also relying heavily on intuitive, client lead and relational interventions as well. Engaging in ethical, trustworthy and thoughtful therapy with you is at the forefront of every interaction. I welcome you as you are! I am sex, poly and kink positive!
