At Rooted Path Counseling, I offer virtual sessions to children, teens, and adults across Virginia. My specialties include providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ clients, treating complex and intergenerational trauma, and helping kids and teens learn how to navigate challenging emotions. My practice is rooted in current trauma research and neuroscience, honoring the complexity of individual experiences while also considering the broader societal and cultural contexts that shape our lives. I draw on a variety of evidence-based approaches including IFS, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness-Based Practices, DBT, TF-CBT, and Creative Expression.
