I'm a somatic psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, men navigating sexuality and intimacy, and people healing from religious trauma. As a gay man raised in a conservative religious environment, I know firsthand what it costs to grow up in spaces that didn't have room for all of who we are. The armor we learn to wear. The ways we learn to shrink, perform, or disappear just to get through the day. Those experiences don't just live in our memories. They live in our bodies. And that's exactly where I work. My approach is relational, collaborative, and body-based. I'm not just interested in what you want to experience less of. I'm equally curious about what you want more of: presence, connection, aliveness, and a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself. The goal isn't just healing from. It's healing toward something fuller and more alive. As a somatic psychotherapist, I work with both what's on your mind and what your body is holding. Together we'll develop real skills for regulating your nervous system and building body awareness you can take into your daily life and your relationships. When you work with me, you don't have to explain yourself, brace for a reaction, or wonder if I really get it. You can just show up.
