Provider Description
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania providing affirming and trauma-informed therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals. I also provide gender-affirming care, including letters of support for hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgeries when clinically appropriate. My approach to letter writing focuses on both informed consent and decision-making capacity, as well as ensuring you feel prepared and supported in your medical decisions. I believe clients are the experts on their own identities, and therapy is a space to explore and strengthen that understanding. I do not believe in gatekeeping or questioning that. During a first session, we will discuss what brings you in, your goals, your history, and what kind of support feels most helpful. I strive to create a space where you can speak openly about identity, relationships, family dynamics, dysphoria, minority stress, or anything else affecting your wellbeing. In addition to gender-affirming care, I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity development. My goal is to offer a steady, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe and understood.
