Provider Description
I utilize a humanistic framework and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs, question and promote curiosity, and walk alongside you as we delve deeper into your journey and explore the past and present. I integrate aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and psychodynamic theory as additional therapeutic modalities. Exploring the root of thoughts, behaviors, and diving deeper into the self is a journey, and my intention is for it to be a collaborative process every step of the way. You are the expert in your life, and my goal is to support you in whichever way I can. I primarily work with Asian/Asian-American identities, immigrants, LGBTQ+, adjustment/life transitions, depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, gender transition, social stress, and ADHD. I also work with parents whose children/family members are transgender and/or are beginning their gender transition journey.
